Cyber Speeds is a free, professional-grade internet speed test built and maintained by independent developer Muhammad Daniyal. We believe everyone deserves transparent, accurate data about their internet connection — without paywalls, subscriptions, or hidden agendas.
Our Mission
The internet has become foundational infrastructure for work, education, entertainment, and communication. Yet most people have no idea whether they're actually getting the speeds their ISP promised them. Cyber Speeds was built to change that.
We provide a precision measurement tool that tests download speed, upload speed, latency, and jitter — the four metrics that define your real-world internet experience. Our engine uses the Cloudflare global CDN, the same infrastructure that serves a significant portion of the world's web traffic, ensuring your results reflect genuine content delivery performance rather than an artificially optimized test environment.
Our goal: give every person on earth a one-click, honest measurement of their internet connection — free forever.
The Technology
Unlike legacy speed tests that rely on single-server connections, Cyber Speeds uses a multi-stream parallel testing architecture. By opening multiple TCP connections simultaneously, the engine can properly saturate high-bandwidth connections (200 Mbps+) that would otherwise appear artificially limited in single-thread tests.
Latency is timed with the browser's high-resolution clock and reported as your best round trip, alongside a jitter figure — the variation between consecutive samples that causes lag spikes in gaming and choppy audio on calls.
Every page is prerendered to static HTML at build time and the React app takes over from there, so the site loads fast on any device. Nothing about the test needs a server of ours: there is no account to create, no result stored, and no data collected.

Cyber Speeds is funded through non-intrusive display advertising via Google AdSense. We display small banner ads that don't interfere with the test or your results. There are no premium tiers, no account requirements, and no data selling. Your test results belong to you alone.
